I ran into a site the other day: http://www.ncbeekeeper.com/index.html This guy has a bit on meadmaking and has some good outlines on the process that are worth looking at.  I found this when I was looking at clarifying my metheglin.  This man suggests Sparkaloid which I have seen, not tried yet, but will give a whirl.  It sounds as if he has had success and is a beekeeper which gives him many points on my end.  Give him a look see if you would and let him know your thoughts on his site.

In using a fining agent, I have used Super-Kleer.  I intend to use the Sparkaloid this go-around and follow his suggestions as it appears he has had good success for his batches.

Cross fingers and it is good to see a fellow bee wrangler in the mead making business!  Cheers Gary!
